Our Infant Program
6 Weeks – 18 Months
Our infants receive nurturing care in a loving environment. They want to be close to people and love seeing familiar faces. Our teachers keep a schedule full of care giving that will encourage social, cognitive, large and fine motor development milestones through repetition and play. Activities in the infant room include:
Floor activities such as tummy time, rolling over and crawling
Exploring different textured materials
Arts and crafts
Reading time
Music and rhythm
Feeding time
Quiet and sleep time
Your infant’s safety is our top priority. All toys are age appropriate and sanitized. Sleeping infants are closely monitored.
Our Toddler Program
18 Months – 3 Years
Toddlers are full of energy, play, and exploration. We provide a room and environment with enriching, age appropriate materials that stimulate creativity, problem solving, independence, and curiosity of their environment. Toddlers are sensitive and establish a strong bond with our teachers. Our teachers model good manners by saying “please” and “thank you” and encourage your child to do the same in return. We work on self help skills of hand washing, eating, picking up toys and working closely with parents on potty training. Activities in the toddler room include:
Story time
Running, jumping, rolling, catching and dancing
Arts and crafts
Music
Building, stacking, sorting and counting
Our Preschool Program
3 – 5 Years
Our experienced staff will guide our preschool age children to encounter new challenges through purposeful play. We watch our preschoolers meet these challenges with individualized instruction and encouragement. Our curriculum is designed to ignite your child’s interests in learning by creating an active learning environment with adults and peers.
With the older preschoolers, it is time to get ready for kindergarten. The needed skills include:
Basic letter recognition
Recognize numbers
Recognize environmental print
Understanding a safe environment and the impact of learning
Engaging interactional conversations
Solve problems
Think creatively
Reading readiness
Play well with others
Our School Age Program
5 – 12 Years
Our classroom environment instills and encourages a love for learning. Children have different ways they would like to spend their time. Some children like a brief time to relax and have quiet time, others may want to finish homework, while others are ready to interact with friends and get rid of pent up energy! We accommodate all of these needs.
